The Ortofon Pro S is classed as the entry level cartridge which is ideal for newcomers on the DJ scene who want to start off with decent, but not to expensive equipment.
The Pro S has a spherical diamond stylus which minimizes scratching and a solid cantilever which can survive hectic activity at the turntable. The sound quality is nothing to worry about beating all other brands in this price range. The Pro S is a consistent performer and a fine all-rounder !
